LightLab International facilities are Independent Laboratories which provide photometric and colorimetric testing services to the lighting industry. The two North American labs are accredited to ISO-17025 by NVLAP (National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program), and the Australasia lab is accredited to ISO-17025 by NATA (National Association of Testing Authorities).LightLab International conducts tests in accordance with industry-accepted standards, including many of the test methods published by the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) and Underwriters Laboratories (UL). LightLab International is committed to helping manufacturers maximize their Return-On-Investment by providing technical support and quick turn-around times. We offer diverse testing services for various lighting sources and are capable of accurately testing test subjects up to 6ft in length. Our laboratories are also fundamentally built around IES LM-79, the IES test method for Solid-State Lighting Products (SSL). All photometric and colorimetric distribution data is acquired using LightLab International R80A goniophotometers/goniospectroradiometers. The R80A is a type-C swinging mirror goniometer designed and built by LightLab International.
